One of the best parts of being a wedding professional is the ability to meet and work with new people.  When Michael and Jennifer first booked me last year, my first impression of them were fun and care free.  They were a pleasure to work with during our love story shoot and during their wedding on October 2 at St. Anthony of Padua and Magnolia Plantation.  They enjoy life and it came off perfectly on video and on camera.  They were so easy to film and shoot that it didn’t feel like I was working.  It was that easy to document them and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Please enjoy their wedding montage above and the pictures below are courtesy of my good friends, Ray and Jason Taix of The Brothers Taix Photography

Janell, Jen, and I with Michael and Jennifer

Becky and Brice are getting married on December 4 and a few weekends ago I shot their engagement video at Southport Hall and Audubon Park.  It was a great day to film and shoot especially at Southport Hall.  Becky and Brice met there and we were lucky to get inside and recreate their first meeting and take a few shots on the stage.  We then went to Audubon Park for a few more shots and ended the session at the church where they’re getting married at, Holy Name on St. Charles.  It was a great day and I’m looking forward to their wedding and reception at the J.W. Marriott

When I first heard that Charlie and Jennifer were having their first child together, I knew I wanted to shoot a maternity video for them.  Last weekend I ventured into something new and shot my first maternity session.  I was thinking outside the box doing this shoot and feel that I was able to get good footage and photos of my friends.  Below are a few photos from the shoot and coming soon I’ll have the maternity video

I’ve always enjoyed getting to know my couples and one of the reasons why I love to shoot Save the Date videos is that it allows me to better know them.  After my session with Taryn and Lee, I can say that they are great people to hang out with.  Just before we started, I found out that Lee was taught by my brother in high school and this just tells me what a small world we live in.  During the course of the day, we talked about their hobbies, how they met, Lee’s proposal and other details about their wedding.  It was a great session and one of my most enjoyable ones to film and shoot.  Please enjoy their Save the Date Video above and a few more photos from their session below
